At the age of 12, Alain Robert scaled 8 floors to enter a window into his home after forgetting his keys. A top ranked solo-climber, Robert climbed his first skyscraper in Chicago in 1994. Collecting money for charity with each climb; “Spiderman” (as he is known) has scaled some of the tallest buildings in the world (like the twin towers in Kuala Lumpar). Don’t look down.

How many push-ups can you do, nonstop, before your arms resemble that of a wet noodle? 10, 20… 50? With this easy little program, you could be doing 100 consecutive push-ups in about 6 weeks. Back straight. Elbows in.

Jean-Yves Blondeau, aka Rollerman, came up with a suit covered in rollers, similar to rollerblade wheels (about 27 of ’em). And he, well… rolls around Paris. There are a couple of videos of the suit in action. Oh, and the get-up is known as a Buggy Rollin’ suit.

Running is the fastest means of travel for us to move on foot. There are about six different forms of running events in sport. Six classifications of distance running. Popularized by Jim Fixx back in the 70s and promoted by “the father of long distance running,” Ted Corbitt; running is quite the past time as it is for health. Luckily for us, Bill McDermott put together World Run Day. Lace ’em, if ya got ’em.
