This rather thrifty (read: cheap) fellow can mod just about anything out of anything (ex: HDD-powered speakers as seen above). Going by the name of ”Afroman” he makes some of the stupidest, weirdest and cheap (read: ghetto) mods around. MacGyver would be proud.

Net neutrality is a principle, in a very basic form, that the internet should be free (no restrictions or extra charges on websites of all kinds). Apparently, major ISPs have decided to band together and charge the internet like cable providers charge for television stations. By the year 2012. Your world, denied.

Guinness has been recording world records since 1954. As time dictates, things change and with the advancement of video games (and their popularity), it was inevitable that Guinness would compile records set in the virtual community. Zelda is the oldest, continuing series on the market. And you thought Mario had problems with that damn princess.

There are incredible, man-made structures on our fair sphere. Equally incredible are some of the excavations that have spotted the surface through the years. Most notable among them is the Kennecott Copper Mine in Bingham Canyon, Utah. This 2½-mile diameter wide and ¾-mile deep pit produces copper, molybdenum, gold and silver. Just a minor blemish on the face of the Earth, really.
